What you're buying, and all sales are final
The Amigo CLI app is free to download and use as an SSH/serial/API terminal — there's nothing to buy for that. The paid purchase is the AI license: a one-time US$19.99 license key, delivered to you instantly by email, that unlocks the AI assistant on one device. Because the license is digital and delivered instantly, all sales of the AI license are final and we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Please try the free app and read the features, the License Agreement, and the pricing before you buy the AI license, so you know exactly what you're getting. For digital purchases, delivery begins immediately: where you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content (for example in the EU or UK), you agree at checkout to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose that withdrawal right once the license is delivered or activated.
If something genuinely went wrong
We want every charge to be fair. Contact us and we'll make it right if:
- you were charged more than once for the same order, or
- a technical fault on our side stopped your license from being delivered or activated, and we can't fix it for you.
Email [email protected] with your order number (it's in your purchase email from Polar) and we'll look into it promptly.
Amigo AI plans — cancelling a monthly subscription
An Amigo AI plan is a monthly subscription, separate from the one-time license. It renews each month until you cancel.
- Cancel any time, from the billing portal linked in your purchase email from Polar.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for — you are not cut off the moment you cancel.
- We do not refund part of a month that has already started, and unused allowance does not carry over. If a charge is genuinely wrong, the section above applies to plans exactly as it does to licenses.
- Cancelling a plan does not take away your license. The assistant stays unlocked, and you can keep using it with your own AI provider key or a model you run yourself, at no further cost to us.
Your legal rights
This policy does not take away any rights you have under the consumer-protection law that applies where you live. If that law gives you a refund or cancellation right for digital purchases, that right still applies, and our payment provider, Polar (the merchant of record who processed your payment), handles it.
A note on chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — it's faster than a bank dispute, and we're glad to help. After any refund is issued, the related license key is deactivated and the AI assistant stops working (the free terminal keeps working), which is expected.
