Terms of Sale & Use

Last updated: August 25, 2026 · These terms are between you and Zapit Technologies ("we", "us"), a company registered in Texas, USA, for the Amigo CLI website and your purchase of the Amigo CLI software (the "Software").

These terms cover buying the Software and using this website. The Software itself is licensed to you under our End-User License Agreement (EULA), and our data practices are in the Privacy Policy. By using this website or buying the Software, you agree to these terms. Company-wide website terms are covered by the Zapit Technologies company Terms & Conditions.

1. Who we are

Amigo CLI is a product of Zapit Technologies, an IT company registered in Texas, USA. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What's free and what's paid

The terminal is free — you can download Amigo CLI and use it as an SSH/serial/API terminal with no purchase and no license key. The AI assistant (the chat, and everything the AI does for you) is the paid part: it is unlocked with a license, on one device at a time, with no recurring fee. Your right to use the software is granted under the EULA, which you accept when you install or use it; it is provided "as is", and you are responsible for the commands you approve and run on your own equipment. If there is any conflict about the software itself, the EULA controls.

Once the assistant is unlocked, you choose what powers it, and this choice is free to change at any time in the app:

The license and a plan are two separate purchases. The license turns the assistant on; a plan only powers it. A plan is optional — the first two options above need nothing but the license.

3. Price and payment

The license. Unlocking the AI assistant is a one-time price of US$19.99 per device (unless a different price is shown at checkout); the terminal itself is free. It does not expire and there is no recurring fee for it.

Amigo AI plans. If you want us to supply the AI, plans are billed monthly at the prices shown at checkout — currently Starter US$19, Pro US$49 and Max US$99 per month. Each plan carries a monthly allowance and fair-use limits, published at the time you buy, and the app shows how much of the current period you have used. If you reach the limit the assistant stops answering on that plan until the period resets or you move to a larger one; it does not silently bill you more. A subscription renews each month until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time — cancelling stops the next renewal and the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Plan prices, allowances and fair-use limits may change for future billing periods, and we will tell you before a change takes effect.

Payment and tax for both are handled by our reseller and merchant of record, Polar; your card details go to them, not to us. Your purchase is also subject to Polar's terms at checkout. Prices may change, but a change does not affect a purchase you have already made.

4. Delivery and activation

The app is a free download. After you buy an AI license you receive a license key by email; you enter it in the app under Settings → License to turn the AI assistant on (see the Download page and the EULA). A license covers one device at a time and can be moved by deactivating it on the first device.

5. Refunds

Because the Software is delivered instantly, all sales are final — please review the features and system requirements before buying, and read the EULA. For digital purchases, delivery begins immediately: where you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content (for example in the EU or UK), you agree at checkout to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose that withdrawal right once download or activation begins. If a charge is genuinely wrong (for example a double charge or a failed delivery) we will make it right. See our Sales & Refund Policy for detail; your mandatory consumer-law rights where you live are not affected.

6. Using this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to break the law, infringe others' rights, attempt to gain unauthorized access to or disrupt the site or its systems, or scrape or copy its content except as allowed by law. The content on this website belongs to Zapit Technologies or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.

7. Third-party services

Buying and running the Software involves third parties under their own terms: Polar (payments and license validation); for the AI features, the AI provider whose key you supply if you bring your own key; and, if you buy an Amigo AI plan, the AI provider and hosting provider we select to run it, listed in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for those third parties' services or policies.

8. Disclaimers and liability

This website and the purchase process are provided "as is" and "as available"; we do not warrant that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted. Warranties and liability for the Software are addressed in the EULA. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed; continued use of the site or a new purchase after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and the state and federal courts located in Texas will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
